The upper features a patchwork base in varying shades of blue, complemented by sashiko-inspired textures and embroidered motifs of auspicious clouds and floral patterns, faithfully recreating a handcrafted aesthetic.
Colorway & Materials: The upper combines denim blue with mixed materials, accented by red highlights and a gum rubber outsole for a vintage, timeless look. The collar features a red inner lining, while the hemp tongue and off-white laces echo the retro atmosphere.

Stability & Flexibility: Lockdown and containment are excellent—the toe box fits more snugly than the previous generation, the lacing system is upgraded, and heel lockdown is secure. Torsional stability is top-tier, with the midfoot carbon plate providing strong rigidity and stable alignment. However, ultimate agility is slightly compromised: in pursuit of stability, the spherical outsole from the KAI 2 was removed, reducing rolling motion and making direction changes less fluid than the previous model.
