Gen.G Generation Gaming

The esports organization Gen.G (abbreviated as GEN) was formerly known as MVP Club. Its League of Legends division was officially established on May 7, 2012. Its two teams were renamed Samsung White (SSW) and Samsung Blue (SSB) after being acquired by Samsung. In 2014, they were restructured and merged into Samsung Galaxy (SSG), which was later renamed Gen.G. It is one of the powerhouse clubs in the early days of League of Legends esports. In 2014, the club shone brightly as both SSW and SSB advanced to the Global Finals, facing off against each other in the semifinals in a clash between "brothers." SSW ultimately emerged as the champion of the 2014 League of Legends World Championship. After the merger of the two formidable teams, despite significant roster changes, their strength remained formidable. The team successively secured second place at the 2016 League of Legends World Championship and won the championship at the 2017 League of Legends World Championship. Today, Gen.G remains one of the strong teams in the LCK and has not missed the Global Finals in the past two years. Their relentless pursuit of the global championship title has never ceased!
