LGD Gaming's League of Legends division was established in 2012. Just one year after its founding, the team captured the TGA Winter Finals Championship, successfully earning promotion to the LPL (League of Legends Pro League). In 2015, LGD dominated by claiming the LPL Spring Split Runner-up and Summer Split Championship, securing qualification for the Season 5 World Championship. That same year, the organization was nominated for LPL Club of the Year at the Demacia Cup Annual Awards Ceremony. In 2020, LGD qualified for the S10 World Championship as the LPL region's fourth seed.
The LGD Esports Club logo features a minimalist red color scheme, representing the pursuit of dreams and passion. Its clean, continuous design resembles a Chinese dragon—a symbol of luck and success.
