RNG Esports Club was founded in 2012 and currently operates nine game divisions with 12 teams, standing as one of China's most influential esports organizations. Since its establishment, RNG's League of Legends division has achieved consecutive World Championship Runner-up finishes in 2013 and 2014, followed by three straight Demacia Cup Championships from 2017 to 2019.

The team has also captured the 2016 LPL Spring Split Championship, 2018 LPL Spring Split Championship, 2018 LPL Summer Split Championship, 2018 and 2021 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) Championships, and the 2021 LPL Spring Split Championship—becoming the second team in LPL history to complete the Spring-Summer "Double Crown."

Particularly notable was the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, where four RNG players represented the Chinese national team among six total roster spots, capturing the gold medal and bringing honor to the nation.
